Graphic Communication aims to reflect in the classroom, current advances in technology and approaches to communicating ideas in technical and graphical fashions. The S2 course will reflect techniques used in industry to present Design Ideas, Technical Drawings, Computer Aided Drawings and models etc. by using a worldwide "International Language".
Pupils will be involved in a variety of tasks and assignments which will involve reading and interpreting drawings, presenting technical drawings using drawing equipment, using graphics techniques to present design ideas e.g. 2 point perspective sketches, manual sketches, desk top publishing, models, displays and computer produced material.
Students will then be able to use these skills to enhance their work in design & manufacture and inter -disciplinary learning.
